- Library Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Book loans are 3 weeks (overdue fines are $.10 per day). We ask that students not have more than 40 books out at a time. Community users are limited to 5 books at a time.
- DVD loans are 1 week (overdue fines are $.10 per day) and are limited to 3 at a time.
- Reference books can only be used in the library and contain the letters REF in front of the call number
- The Library has 24 computers and the library computer lab has 24 computers. All computers are equipped with Windows 10 & MS Office 2016.
- As a student at HCC, you are assigned your own storage space called an M Drive. You also have access to OneDrive through the college. You can also save your work to a flash drive, Google Drive, Dropbox or anyother cloud-based storage space. Please be aware that once you log-off a computer, your work will not be saved on the hard drive.
- The College's Electronic Access Acceptable Use Policy governs the use of all computers in the library and the library computer lab.
- Black & white computer printouts cost $.10 each and color printouts cost $.25 each.
- Photocopies cost $.10 each. You can also use the photocopier to scan documents to email at no charge.
- Faxing is free to students and community users.
- Laminating is free to students and community users. Please be aware that the laminator takes about 10 minutes to heat up before use.
- Snacks and drinks are fine to bring into the library. Please do not bring hot food from the cafeteria or take out food into the library.
